A digital, state-of-the-art laboratory with over 50 years of experience, based in sunny Torquay, Devon.

At Bayview Dental Ceramics our temporary implant bridges are just as important as the finished result. We still use @createchmedical for the metal framework. The frameworks are then prepared and the composite is added. A year ago we invested in our own milling machine to mill our zirconia in house…. With a few exceptions our Vhf E5 milling machine goes on every working day. It has become an invaluable piece of machinery for our small laboratory. Doing things the right way starts at the very beginning! Starting with the design of the framework which we do in-house. The design gets sent to @createchmedical to create the framework in chrome cobalt. We then trim up the metal substructure. 2 layers of opaquer are then fired on to the framework ready for the porcelain. 2 fires of porcelain are generally needed and then shaping of each of the units to require the perfect shape. Another investment in our lab is a new Rayshspe mini. It’s a dedicated 3d printer for splints and surgical guides for more precision and the best fits we use Keyguide and Keysplint.
